China. |
The Lecture scheduled at the Neurological Department at Xuan
Wu Hospital are:
The goal of this lecture series is to
educate Chinese Medical Doctors and Students about the genesis of EEG and the
concepts of Power, Coherence and Phase as it relates to Electrical Neuroimaging.
The lectures will be based on the book:
“Handbook of Quantitative Electroencephalography and EEG Biofeedback”, 2012, ANI
Publishing. To learn more about the content and/or to purchase Dr.
Thatcher's book visit
www.anipublishing.com.
The lecture on EEG Neurofeedback will
demonstrate how to link a patient’s symptoms to the patient’s brain based on
dysregulated nodes and connections in brain networks. No localization of
function, instead, high speed network node and hub switching and integration in
packets of time will be demonstrated. BrainSurfer and LORETA Z Score
Neurofeedback will be shown as an example of Real- time EEG biofeedback of 3-D
current sources in Brodmann areas linked to the patient’s symptoms.
